iOS 17.2.1: With Its New Features
The iPhone manufacturer has now released iOS 17.2.1, a minor update, to the public following the release of iOS 17.2 earlier this month, which included features like a Journal app and the capacity to shoot Spatial Videos.
Apple states that this update “provides important bug fixes and is recommended for all users” in the update log. This indicates that rather than emphasizing feature additions, this update includes significant bug fixes.
This update is compatible with all iPhone models including iPhone XS and later that support iOS 17. It is still advisable to install this update even though it doesn’t include any significant improvements because it fixes some bugs that may not affect you at all. The iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone X can now be updated to iOS 16.7.4 if you own an older iPhone model that isn’t compatible with iOS 17. Similarly, the 9.7-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro models have received an iPadOS 16.7.4 update. Although these updates don’t bring any new features, their main goal is to make these devices more secure.
