In an upcoming episode of Koffee with Karan, the popular director-actor team of Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn will be featured. Karan Johar hosts this celebrity chat show. The promotional video for the show has been circulated online, and Ranveer Singh will make an appearance in the episode as the three talk in-depth about the actor. When Karan questioned Ajay about his “sworn enemy in the industry,” the actor responded, “Once upon a time, you,” which gave Karan another “shock.”
The eighth season of Koffee With Karan features a charismatic character that viewers have never seen before, and the latest teaser features Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty as guests. It appears that Ajay, who previously appeared on the show with his wife Kajol, is at his most impulsive.
When asked if he would take success too personally, Ajay Devgn is seen grinning. Rohit Shetty responds. “I can talk about him and Salman Khan,” he is heard stating. They’re chilling outside their van if their movies are doing blockbusters.
When Karan was Ajay’s enemy
With the comment, “This dynamic duo is bringing their signature ‘explosive’ fun to the Koffee couch this week,” Karan posted the promo to Instagram. Are you facing any sworn enemies in the industry, and if so, who are they? Karan asked at the end of the promo’s rapid-fire round. He is at a loss for words when Ajay replies, “Once upon a time, you.” “I got such a shock,” replies Karan, holding his throat.
When the former’s Shivaay and the latter’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil clashed in October 2016, Ajay and Karan were at disagreements. Even Karan and Kajol put their friendship on hold as a result of this, but they all made up sometime later.
Ranveer Singh was Rohit Shetty’s go-to pick during a rapid-fire session because he would often change dialogue mid-take, have meltdowns before challenging scenes, and go crazy at the wrap party.
A few months ago, Ajay Devgn shared the Singham Again poster that showed his face next to a roaring lion. “He is mighty, he is power, he is danger,” Ajay wrote in the post’s caption. Ajay and Rohit Shetty worked together on the movie for Singham and Golmaal. His upcoming movie is “Singham Again” starring, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, and Kareena Kapoor.
Rohit Shetty responds on his behalf, saying, “I followed him and Salman.” They are lounging outside their van if the movie turns out to be a hit. They’re chilling outside their van if the movie hasn’t done well.
Then, we see them discussing Ranveer Singh, who is described as “very volatile.” Rohit declares that his energy is completely different. When it’s his turn, Rohit Shetty only mentions Ranveer when asked to identify the actor who breaks character during a take, loses it before a challenging scene, and acts crazy at a rap party.
