Instagram Now Let Users Create Short Video And Looping Video

Instagram has seen a string of back-to-back updates and features from Meta. Its Notes feature will soon receive the most recent update. Users can now add videos to their Notes with the help of a new feature that the company recently revealed. Notes used to be restricted to text-based updates, similar to the old AIM status messages. 

Social media platform always keeps adding new features to improve the user experience and make sure it’s still useful and relevant for its users. with Instagram this feature in Instagram, people able to post video notes has recently been added to the well-known app owned by Meta.

Video notes are limited to two seconds in length, it should be mentioned that they are not a substitute for Instagram Stories.  Users will soon be able to share video Notes on Instagram. Instagram introduced Notes a year ago as a feature similar to WhatsApp status updates. Users used to be limited to adding text or emoticons to their status updates. 

Now Share Your Looping Video Notes To Your Close Friends

The users can now share a two-second looping video note with their Close Friends list or with other users who follow them in common. The social media network may be testing a new privacy feature that will allow users to control who can see the Likes they have on posts and reels, according to another leak.

Instagram announced that users can now share brief, looping videos called Notes on a support page. Video taken with the front-facing camera is the only format that the feature supports at this time. The video Notes will be visible for 24 hours, just like Stories, despite being different from Instagram Stories. The only way to record a video is in real-time, as you are unable to use videos that already exist in your camera gallery. 

Users worldwide will gradually be able to access the new video notes feature. When the brief videos are ready, users can add them to Notes by going through a similar procedure as when adding text or audio notes. But there will be a two-second loop limit on the video Note.

Instagram is adding a range of response options for friends’ Notes, including photos, videos, audio messages, stickers, and GIFs, in addition to video Notes. The feature that allows replies to Notes to be viewed as direct messages will improve platform conversations even more. 

You have the option to add music and a text caption to the video Note before sharing it. Additionally, you have the option to control who sees your Notes by selecting either the list of Close Friends or your Mutual Followers. Additionally, the report states that any video Note you share will cause your profile’s thumbnail on the viewer’s page to change from your profile picture to the video shared, as the Notes are visible in Direct Messages. It is crucial to remember that video Notes can only be uploaded from the phone’s gallery and that videos must be taken with the front-facing camera within the app.

For those who are unaware, Instagram’s Notes feature was introduced by Meta last year and has since become increasingly popular among teenagers. With the latest Notes video update, users can now share brief, looping videos with their Close Friends or mutual followers for a full day.

It is crucial to remember that video Notes can only be uploaded from the phone’s gallery and that videos must be taken with the front-facing camera within the app.
