Uttam Ahlawat disclosed in an exclusive interview that they were forced to terminate his role because Abhishek Kumar would pick fights with every person on the “Udaariyaan” set. “I recall going to London for shoots when Abhishek was in the show,” the director remarked. We decided to terminate his role at that point. So it’s true in part what Isha said. Due to his anger management problems, his role ended.

Most of his fights on set were with everyone, and we didn’t want things to get out of control. We had to make a choice, so we killed his character. Because Isha was a key character in the narrative and the audience adored her, we wanted her to be accessible.
