Redmi Note 13 Series’s specifications are being officially teased in India

The Redmi Note 13 series will arrive in India on January 4, according to the company. Redmi is likely to introduce three models, similar to what it did previously in China. There will be three models: ordinary, Pro, and Pro+.

The company has released some of the main features of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ ahead of its formal debut. The teasers also confirm that the specifications would be comparable to the Chinese model, leaving little room for investment before its release in India. The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is available in China for CNY 1,999 (about Rs 22,800), implying that the 5G Redmi phone will be priced under Rs 30,000 in India.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro is scheduled to come in India with the same features as its Chinese version. The device will be equipped with a 5100mAh battery that supports 67W rapid charging. The phone is also rumored to come standard with 8GB of RAM, with pricier models giving up to 16GB of RAM.

Specifications for the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G

The Redmi Note 13 Pro is expected to cost EUR 450 (approximately Rs. 40,700), while the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ is expected to cost EUR 500 (about Rs. 45,000). In India, the Pro is expected to cost Rs. 32,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage model.

The teasers also reveal the presence of a 1.5K display featuring. While the specific size for the Indian market has yet to be released, the Chinese model specification is a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus. A 5,000mAh battery powers the device and supports 120W rapid charging. Xiaomi will almost certainly include an adapter in the retail packaging.

This means we now know the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G specifications. Xiaomi India, on the other hand, has revealed a few specifications. In terms of performance, the company has already verified the processor. The MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra processor will power the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus 5G.

Xiaomi also claims that it is the first device to use this technology. The Dimensity 7200 Ultra is also believed to be the exclusive processor of Xiaomi. It might run on the most recent HyperOS, which is based on the Android 14 operating system. In terms of storage, the Redmi Note 13 Pro Plus could have up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

The Indian variants of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G and Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G series may have identical specs and looks to their Chinese counterparts. They seem to have minimal bezels on both sides and a centralized hole-punch hole on the display for the selfie shooter in the teasers.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G will be powered by a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC, and the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G will be dust and water-resistant, with an IP68 rating.

The next Redmi Note 13 series has a 200-megapixel Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor with OIS capability, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens sensor, and a macro sensor with a resolution of 2 megapixels in terms of optics. The device has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. The Chinese model is powered by the Android 13 operating system. It is unclear if the Indian model would use the same operating system or the newest Android 14.
