As Rajkumar Hirani’s popular film Dunki, starring Shah Rukh Khan, reaches its premiere, anticipation is growing. With this next comedy-drama, SRK appears to be hitting three straight high points after the two huge hits, Jawan and Pathaan.
Bollywood’s Badshah Dunki, a social comedy-drama, marks the first collaboration between Shah Rukh Khan and renowned storyteller Rajkumar Hirani. With two consecutive industry hits, Pathaan and Jawan, SRK is performing at his best this year.
According to the teaser, Dunki will be a comedy-emotional film in the mark Rajkumar Hirani. International markets are already accepting reservations. Tomorrow is when the advances will start in India. Dunki is not being dubbed into any other languages, in contrast to Jawan and Pathaan.

A week before Dunki opens in theaters across the globe on December 21, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has certified the movie. After seeing the movie on December 15, the censor board gave it a U/A certificate. Dunki has been permitted to run for 2 hours and 41 minutes (161 minutes).
Dunki Completes The Formalities of CBFC
Dunki was submitted to the CBFC to receive the censor certificate before the start of the booking. Producer and industry insider Girish Johar announced on X, formerly Twitter, that the eagerly anticipated movie had received a U/A certificate.
First, before the second half of the movie starts, the CBFC requested that the anti-smoking health spots be inserted into the opening and middle scenes of the movie. Then, the word “suitably” changed to “immigrants” at the start of the movie. The shots of Hardy (Shah Rukh Khan) in uniform during his wedding on a horse were also “appropriately” altered before the intermission. Then, in an important scene, the legal caution that “suicide is not a solution to any problems” was added. The filmmakers also provided documentary proof for the statistics and other information that was mentioned towards the end of the movie.
The cuts recommended by the CBFC are limited. The inclusion of health warnings against smoking at the opening and shortly before the second half of the movie was directed by the board. Furthermore, a term from the opening scene was changed to “immigrants.”
Moreover, the statistics and other facts mentioned at the end of the movie were supported by documentary evidence provided by the filmmakers. On December 15, after all of these adjustments were made, Dunki received a U/A certificate. The censor certificate states that the movie is 161.24 minutes long. Put differently, Dunki lasts for two hours, forty-one minutes, and twenty-four seconds.
Under the direction of popular director Rajkumar Hirani, On Thursday, December 21, theaters around the globe opened to the public. It will compete with the blockbuster Salaar, starring Prabhas, which opens on December 22 in theaters.

Star Raja’s Dunki and Prabhas’ Salaar, which is helmed by KGF star Prashanth Neel, will be going head-to-head at the box office.
