Salaar, starring Prabhas: Part 1 With one of the best openings in Indian box office history, Ceasefire is off to a great start. The film’s long-term success will depend on the way it does in Hindi, even though its Telugu debut was historic. Salaar had the fifth-biggest Hindi premiere for a South Indian movie, according to Sacnilk.com.

According to a report by Sacnilk.com, Prabhas has made history with Salaar by being the first actor to earn four openers at the Indian box office worth more than ₹100 crore, following Baahubali 2, Saaho, and Adipurush.
Top 5 South Indian movies with the largest openings
Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2, an action movie set in 2022 in India during the Kannada period, is ranked number one. It was produced by Hombale Films and written and directed by Prashanth Neel.
It is a continuation of the 2018 movie KGF: Chapter 1 and the second of a three-part series. With Yash in the lead role, the film stars Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon as well in an ensemble cast.
The second film is Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, a 2017 Telugu action movie co-written and directed by SS Rajamouli and V Vijayendra Prasad. In it, Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishna, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Rana Daggubati, and Anushka Bhatia are among the actors. This movie functions as both a prequel and a sequel to Baahubali: The Beginning.
The third film on the list is S Shankar’s 2018 Tamil 3D science-fantasy action flick 2.0. 2.0 is a stand-alone follow-up to Enthiran (2010) and the second part of the Enthiran film trilogy. It stars Rajinikanth in three roles Vaseegaran, Chitti the Robot, and Kutti alongside Akshay Kumar as Pakshi Rajan, who is making his Tamil cinema debut, and Amy Jackson as Nila.
The epic period action drama film RRR, a 2022 Telugu production directed by SS Rajamouli, comes in at number four. Starring in the movie are Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, Jr. NTR, Ram Charan, Ajay Devgn, Alia Bhatt, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, and Olivia Morris.
The story centers on the friendship and struggle of the two imaginary Indian rebels, Sitarama Raju Alluri (Charan) and Komaram Bheem (Rama Rao), against the British Raj.
Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire is on number five. Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran lead the cast of Prashanth Neel’s Telugu action movie, which also has Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Bobby Simha, Tinnu Anand, Easwari Rao, Sriya Reddy, and Ramachandra Raju in supporting roles.

KGF: Chapter 2
KGF: Chapter 2 is still the top movie in theaters even after three weeks. With Rs 343.13 crore in gross sales for its Hindi version to date, it has secured the sixth position among the most-grossing films in Hindi. It is anticipated to rise even higher in the next weeks.
RRR
The SS Rajamouli-directed film is ranked third only when considering its global receipts. With profits of Rs 267.67 crore, the Hindi version of the movie comes in at number twelve.
