Poco, a subbrand of Xiaomi, just released the affordable Poco M6 5G smartphone in India. Similar in characteristics to Xiaomi’s Redmi 13C, which was also released a few weeks earlier, was the Poco M6 5G. The Redmi Note 13 Pro may serve as the basis for the base model, while the Pro variant is believed to be a rebranded Redmi K70e that was just released in China. It is projected that both gadgets will make their public debut in January 2024.
The Poco X6 Pro is going to carry the same price tag as the Redmi K70E, which was introduced in China in November 2023 and has a starting price of CNY 1,999 for the 12GB RAM + 256GB edition. Poco X6 potential series
The POCO X6 Pro will be available in two configurations: a 7GB RAM + 256GB storage option and a 12GB RAM + 512GB storage configuration, as disclosed by the FCC certification. Fascinatingly, the Redmi K70e, which recently debuted in China and will be available globally under the POCO brand, is reportedly essentially a renamed version of the Pro model.
In the Indian market, the POCO X6 Pro delivers a marginally lesser 67W charging than the Redmi K70e, which boasts a quick 90W charging. In the electronics sector, this kind of geographical difference in charging speed is not rare. Other than this change, the POCO X6 Pro is reportedly going to have the same specs as its Redmi equivalent.
Poco X6 & POCO X6 Pro Specification
Based on the specs of the Redmi K70e, the POCO X6 Pro is anticipated to include a 1.5K resolution 6.67-inch AMOLED display. Together with these characteristics, the panel will support DCI-P3 color gamut, HDR 10+, PWM high-frequency dimming, and a maximum brightness of 1,800 nits at a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It will come with 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 4.0 storage options, and 8 GB or 12 GB of RAM. HyperOS, which is based on Android 14, is the operating system.
Regarding the photography department, there are rumors that the gadget will have a dual-tone LED flash, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 2-megapixel macro camera, and a 64-megapixel primary rear camera with OIS. The POCO X6 Pro will include a 16 MP front camera for selfies.
A 5,500 mAh battery with 67W rapid charging will power the gadget. Stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, NFC, GPS, IR blaster, and Wi-Fi 6 compatibility are supposedly additional features. Additionally, the phone has been certified for both Hi-Res Wireless and Hi-Res Audio.
