The company’s press release notes Humane’s partnership with Microsoft-backed OpenAI. Notably, with a 14% ownership position in the company, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman holds the largest ownership stake.
The business has announced that the compassionate Ai Pin will retail for $699. Additionally, the pin will charge an extra $24 for a monthly subscription to obtain a phone number and utilize cellular data.
The shipping order will be based on the purchase date, with the first items being shipped to the customers who made their orders first.
If you’re thinking about buying, the Ai Pin costs $699 when the battery booster is included. In addition, a Humane membership that includes internet coverage, an exclusive number, and cellular connectivity costs $24 per month. In the US, T-Mobile is the only carrier offering this service at the moment.
Although the business does not reveal the exact name, the Ai Pin runs on an unidentified Qualcomm chipset and an AI engine that is likely GPT-4.
